Novelists of the now and future! Welcome to our revamped Substack, the Novel Writers Network, which will now be home to our own and so much better version of NaNoWriMo (yeah I said it). This project started as a bit of an experiment last year but saw an alarmingly lovely growth of 8K+ strong novelists-to-be joining virtual hands to write (and, gasp, finish!) their novels in 30 or so days. This year again, Kailey (more from her below), is back to lead us through First Draft November and help (some of) us (allll of us!?) reach the finish line, but even after November is done we hope to continue to fan the flames here. No promises yet on what this will look like, but we’re in the kitchen friends and we’reee coooking something (or other). Promise it’ll be delicious (edible at least…but not literally…because this was a very long-winded analogy and now I’m self-conscious) k byee
