Today was the first day of First Draft November! Wanted to give you a little space, check in at the end. How’d you do? Today’s word count goal was 1,667. Did you meet it? Exceed it? Going to take some time tomorrow to catch up? All are good answers, this is about having fun and getting through it together.

Pleasantly surprised! I didn’t know I was going to end up writing fiction, but it just came out. I enjoyed it and I’m excited to keep it flowing. 1,500 words. Could easily have kept going. Looking forward to surprising and delighting myself with what appears on the page tomorrow 😎
I achieved the word count in research and finished the characters and plot overview, so that’s why I count it! Tomorrow I’ll be traveling and use that time to write 🫣
